Went for my check-up this afternoon wif Mak. I'm 38 weeks plus now but so far no signs of labour yet except for the occasional Braxton Hicks. Went to Tekka Mall wif Fida & Nora last evening after work to do my eyebrow threading .... and boy will that be my first and last time there. No doubt it's cheaper compared to the one that I frequent ... but it left me feeling painful all over my brows n upper lips ... pedih nak mampos! And she thread 'em thinner than I expected. Syukur alhamdulillah..pada tahun ini, aku berpeluang mengerjakan ibadah korban. We left home at 7am and reached Telok Remunia (it's a lil further up after Desaru) ard 10am. It was quite a smooth journey as there are no jam. The lembu that we've bought for the korban was light brown in color and it quietly laid on the ground while waiting to be slaughtered with such willingness..alhamdulillah..

We had an impromtu weekend getaway across the causeway last Saturday at Puteri Pan Pacific. As usual when you're in JB you'll tend to gorge yourself silly..ehe..yup that's exactly what we did. Got round to baking the raya cookies yesterday. Chocolate Cornflakes & Suji (pic for Suji tak sempat nak amik). And oh yes I also tried baking the kek kukus chocolate (got the recipe from PerkahwinanDotCom) for buka and it turns out quite well except for the bits of unsieved choco powder in the cake. Next time round I must remember to sieve the choco powder well and make sure it's well stirred
