Lepak-Lepak @ Kaki 5

Our Saturday nite was spent lepak-lepaking @ Kaki 5 at Arab Street. Kewl place to chill. Great tasting beverages and snacks. And as usual great company! :)

Get Well Soon Baby

Anaqin's cough got worse on Saturday and to add on to that, he got diarrhea leaving his bum all sore and red :( * I suspected that the medicine given by the new doc may not be suitable for him therefore we brought him to the 24hrs clinic where we used to frequent. Anaqin was given new cough mixture and something to curb the vomiting and also something to stop the diarrhea. * Alhamdulillah, to date, he's recovering. * Get well soon baby..mommy miss seeing the hyperactive you..

I suspected that the medicine given by the new doc may not be suitable for him therefore we brought him to the 24hrs clinic where we used to frequent. Anaqin was given new cough mixture and something to curb the vomiting and also something to stop the diarrhea. * Alhamdulillah, to date, he's recovering.

My Poor Baby

I took a childcare leave yesterday to nurse Anaqin. * ** * It all started on Tuesday nite when my helper called to inform me that Anaqin vomited after his milk feed. I was having dinner at Funan Ctr then with the gerls and Apit. After the phonecall terus hilang selera nak makan..too worried for my baby. Darl called to say that he's on the way home. So he met us at Funan and Apit drove us home. Fetched Anaqin n my helper n off we went to Karri Clinic - recommended by my sista. The doc was nice lah. He really knows how to deal with kids. If Anaqin is serasi with him, then maybe I'll stick to this doc. We'll see how la. * ** * Went to work on Wed thinking that Anaqin would feel better after his medication but I was wrong! When me & darl came back from work, the helper told us that he was cranky all day and his temp has risen. We didnt have proper sleep that nite, coz Anaqin was acting up. Pasted the fever patch on him to make him comfy. * ** * So yesterday I took the day off coz I can't bear to leave him alone esp. when he's sick. Sponged him every 2hrs in order to bring down his temperature. After his nite feed last nite, he slept for a while before being woken up by his coughs. And me being a light sleeper woke up too. He then tilted his head to one side and vomited! It always breaks my heart to see him that way. He just sat there..all weak and sleepy..while I cleaned up the mess and changed his PJ. But I think the vomit cleared his system and he felt and slept better afterwards. * ** * When I left for work this morning, Anaqin was still asleep. Checked his temperature and am glad that its gone down. The last time I called home, darl told me that he's up and running already. Syukur Alhamdulillah!

The Weekend

Fri - Swinged by Borders @ Wheelock Place after work on Friday. There was a promotion for the paperbacks so I grabbed them. It's been ages since I last did any serious reading. On my way to the MRT, I managed to catch a glimpse of some of the floats for the Chingay parade. Some are interesting but some are quite tacky I must say. * ** * Sat - Intended to pay my long overdue visit to Sab but it rained and I remembered her telling me that she's got to attend to some wedding later in the evening..so sms her to cancel the visit. Sorry babe! Anyway the weather was good to snuggle in bed with the newly bought paperbacks..niceee. Later at nite, went to EC for our dinner then they decided to go bowling coz it's been a while since we bowled. Headed off to Pasir Ris Downtown East. My first few bowls were horrible..den after a while..it gets better..eheh..Tangan ku mcm nak tercabut after the game..and I broke my nail..great! just great! hhmmmppff. * ** * Sun - Day was spent playing badminton for 2 hrs or so.

Later at nite, went to EC for our dinner then they decided to go bowling coz it's been a while since we bowled. Headed off to Pasir Ris Downtown East. My first few bowls were horrible..den after a while..it gets better..eheh..Tangan ku mcm nak tercabut after the game..and I broke my nail..great! just great! hhmmmppff.

Sun - Day was spent playing badminton for 2 hrs or so.

I was strolling as usual at Forum to get some lunch when I decided to have a look at one of the boutiques there. Fall in love with some of their stuff and on top of that they're now having a 20% discount! So apa lagik ... beli la!! heh!

Long Weekend Update

Friday Bid farewell to Mr Migraine n Ms Fever. Whipped a non-bake cheesecake for our next door neighbour (sempena hari raya mereka ler) and baked a souffle cheesecake for Ain (darl's niece) for her belated birthday. Had supper at Changi Village.
Sat Went to Eyna's place for her doter's birthday celebration. Afterwards head to Mustaffa Center to get Anaqin's milk and diapers. Gosh..Mustaffa Center was so packed with ppl..its just unbreatheable! Had late supper @ Hajirah.
Sun Went over to MIL's place. Ain was pleasantly surprised to receive the homemade cheesecake :) Brought them out for a meal and gave some $$ to Ain as her birthday pressie. After magrib went to visit Yatie @ ESH. She finally gave birth (c-sect) to a cute little baby girl.

Mon Picnic @ East Coast. The kids swam while the men fished. Played badminton for while before we called it a day..
Tue Spent most of the day at home watchin DVDs. At nite had dinner wif Bat & family @ EC.
