12 June 2007 - She's 60 ... He's 4mths!

Mak celebrated her 60th birthday on this very date while the little one turned 4months. Baked a brownie cake for mak. Only managed to snap a picture of the cake ... camera went flat. Aniq's weight at 4mths - 8.6kg length - 68cm .... alhamdulillah ... sihat wa'alfiat anak mommy! Baju-baju 0-3months sume da tak bleh pakai..sendat you!..ahahaha..so now da mula pakai kan the bajus 6-12mths ... gagah perkasa sungguh! At the moment the little one is having a mild diarrhea ... mak cakap maybe dia nak ringgan kan badan so that he can turn and tiarap ... whatever the reason is I pray that he'll recover soon. Baby Aniq is such a fighter. He didnt cry for all his jabs and now even when he's suffering from diarrhea, he can still keep on his cheery self! Below are some shots of my round round munchkin.

The Long Weekend

Vesak Day was on Thursday and yours truly took the opportunity to take 2 days leave which was on Friday and today so I can enjoy long holiday gitu. On Wednesday, after work, went to pay a visit to Pat at her abode. She jus had her surgery and it's been quite a while since we all met. Chris & Warda were already waiting for me at Pat's lobby when I arrived. Charissa came soon .. armed with dinner. Berbual punyer berbual sampai tak realise the time! By the time I reached home, which was abt 12.30, both boys were already fast asleep.

Vesak Day itself was spent lazing around at home with the companion of two of my men! The husband was out trying to organize his niece's room deco and stuff. Decided to bake marble cakes for her wedding so went down to NTUC to grab the ingredients but memandangkan NTUC pat sini pekak ... most of the ingredients are not available. So later at nite when Samad came, I asked him if he can drive me to Sheng Shiong to get the stuff. Anaqin came along and off we went.

Started to bake the cakes on Friday morning. After baking tot of visiting a friend of ours whom just got diagnosed with leukemia recently. It was a shocking and sad news indeed! It makes me realise how fragile our life can be. One moment we can be healthy as ever and the next we're down with a threatening disease. However the visit was cancelled as she's supposed to go thro her chemo and it might not be a good time to pay her a visit. Since her chemo, she lost all her hair and is embarrassed when friends came over to visit. The doc has given her 6mths to live. To you my friend, all I can offer to you right now is my sincere prayers. May you hv all the strength and faith to go thro this. The rest is all up to HIM.

On Saturday went over to darl's niece wedding at Bedok South with mum, apit, fida and the boys. Darl had to take her wedding photos and by the time we reached there the pengantin has gone to the groom's side. Most of darl's siblings have not seen Aniq's before so kesian budak montel tu kena passing around. Went to another wedding ... mom's friend this time round. Since the boys are sleeping, apit and fida stayed in the car while I accompanied mum.

Sunday has always been a family day for us, furthermore we've missed daddy for the past few days as he was busy running around to get things done for the wedding. Went to Whitesands to as darl needs to get an external drive at challenger but takde plak at that outlet. Went to hv late lunch cum dinner at Arnolds at Pasir Ris pond. It's nice to sit there eating, catching up on things while enjoying the cool breeze. Later went to Eastpoint plak. Darl went to get his stuff at challenger while we sat outside to feed Aniq. Met Fida & Apit who were hving dinner at Istanbul cafe. Oooh yes, I missed Liza's chalet in the midst of everything. So so sorry babe. Hope you understand yeah.

Anyway here I am..at home on a working Monday afternoon, with a lovely weather outside. Best tau. To all those who are at work at this very moment...kesian nyeee korang .... jgn jeles tau! lalalalalala.
