Went for my monthly check-up yesterday and as usual it was crowded. After registering myself, took my weight (gained 1kg alhamdulillah), took the blood pressure and the urine test, off we went to SMR Maid Agency to renew my helper's work permit. I didnt know that the agency had moved from Kembangan Plaza to somewhere near Mak's place so we made our way there since we've got time to kill.
All the staff at the agency are Malay and friendly..nice! And the cost for the renewal of work permit?..a mere $65 compared to the other agencies that can charge up to $150!
It was finally my turn to see the doc. Baby wasn't really active in the tummy while we're doing the scanning, al-maklom lar mommy posa, baby pon posa jugak kan!..ehehe. But alhamdulillah, baby has gained weight from 187g @ 17 weeks to 390g @ 21 weeks! I raised my concern abt not feeling baby's movement yet .. just fluttering movements once in a while. Doc told me not to worry and to expect to feel the full blown kicks and movements in the next few weeks to come. :)
The result of the compulsory blood test and the optional triple test are out too. Alhamdulillah everything is fine except that my white blood cells are slightly high than normal. Therefore in my next visit, doc will have to take a swab from my vagina for further test. He said there's nothing to worry, as my urine test has been clear so far. He said it might be some minor vaginal infection due to the change of hormones in the body system.
Ok back to the soalan cepu emas..the question that have been running thro ur head..am I expecting a baby boy or baby girl? I'll tell u the answer..right after the commercial break!..ahahahaha..allalalalala..
Ok ok serious now..I am expecting a playmate for Anaqin..which means this playmate gets to use Anaqin's pre-loved baby clothes & other stuff, gets to play Anaqin's toys and read Anaqin's books! So in another words, I'm expecting a boy!! ahahaha..most of guys guessed wrong kan! :p
I know I may sound like a sour grape here but I've always preferred boys to girls. However, I think the husband is a tad dissapointed. Since I've told him before that I wanna stop @ two, he's pleading with me to try for another one, hoping that it will be a girl the next time round. Ish akak nie blom lagik terberanak, da nak ckp pasal another baby. I just told him, we'll see how it goes lah!
