I had spotting again on Tuesday while at work. Shocked when I saw my pantyliner drenched in light brown stains. It got me worried when the spotting went on for the rest of the day, followed by light tummy cramps. Rested with my feet up for while but it didnt help that much.
After work had a farewell dinner for Charissa with the rest of the gang @ Newton Food Centre. Food was delicious but I could'nt eat much as my tummy was slightly churning.
Woke up the next morning for work but changed my mind when I realised that I was still spotting. Sms my boss abt it. Called the clinc first before heading there, in case the doctor won't be ard. Met Dr. Aziz, told him my condition, did the scanning. Cervix is still closed, placenta not low, baby not touching the placenta. Alhamdulillah. Doc took a swab of the brown discharge for further investigation at the lab. He suspected that I might have some vaginal infection. I asked how serious will it be. He said some can be treated easily by antibotics where else some serious ones might lead to baby having breathing problems when born. Ya allah! Kecut perot sekejapan!
I was given 3 days MC to have plenty of rest and antibotics for consumption. Up to date, I'm still spotting light brown discharge. I can just hope and pray for the best for the well being of myself and the little one inside me...insyaallah.

hi Layla, Make sure you hv ample rest ok.... cut those visitings for the time being lor... you & the baby are the priority rite now, others can wait...

I think shud be enuff la. Acturi dr. Aziz nak bagi 1 week but I tell him too long la. Lagipong keje berlambak pat opis.

u take care tau.. dulu i pernah ada infection gak but not that brownish type.. more of yellowish, greenish n bau seh..
bt mine can be treated with antibio bt it kept on coming every mth, so every mth ah kena insert itu apa tu cam "bullet" tpt anu dah tu also take antibio..
doc also said, lucky she discovered it earlier, coz act i was keepin mum je seh.. she scolded me for being very selfish..

i had e same thing during azza also, can say every pregnancy mesti ada bt tak seteruk irfan n still bereable, tak gatal n bau.. so again i jus buat bodoh je. .. hehe

thanks dear. i hope it's nothing serious too. when the doc took my discharge for a test, he said it's jus slightly brown and no smell (no itch too) so he dun think it's serious la. but i've yet to find out the result of test so i dun know. all i can do now is to pray for the best.

got that staining during my late trismester (time nak almost branak!)....vaginal swab...some sort of infection...so given antibiotiks during labor....my Dr not taking chances...to minimize baby's developing complications like u mentioned. Kalau dah balik tu swab culture results...complete ur antibiotics diligently. Insya-Allah all will be fine! :)

what worried me most is that i'm not even in my third trimester yet and the doc did mentioned to me that there's a possibility that i might go into premature labour! i'm only 6 and a half months now and bb is not even 1kg! mcm maner aku tak worried babe. i'm now taking the antibotics and alhamdulillah the spotting stopped yesterday. we'll jus hv to wait n see what the result will be.
